Another update for the Android JotNot Application
Another week, another update to our beta version of the JotNot application for Android. Before I get into what’s new in this version I’d like to thank our users for trying out our applications. An even more empahtic ‘thank you’ to users who took the time to provide us with feedback.
In this version we’ve added a few new features, a couple of bugfixes, and some changes to the interface:
New Features
- You can now change the title of a note before saving it
- The autofocus responds to a soft press on the camera button
- The enhanced images have higher contrast
- Deleting works!
Bug Fixes
- The application uses significantly less memory
- The uploading and downloading of images should be faster and less memory intensive
- Less errors which cause a ‘force close’
- Deleting items outside of our application (e.g. in the “pictures” application) doesn’t cause the application to crash
User Interface Changes
- An indicator for the autofocus was added
- A help and tips screen was added
- The view screen looks better now, all of the options are in the context menu (press the menu button to see them)
As always, if you have any suggestions, feedback, bug reports, feature requests, or anything else feel free to e-mail us at support@jotnot.com, we’d love to hear from you.
- Nick
