How to fax all pages in a document

Last year, we launched a faxing service for JotNot users.  Now, you can scan a document and fax it directly from JotNot itself.  Our goal is to offer a reliable, convenient faxing service at a fair price.    Those who need to send a fax every so often will find JotNot much easier and cheaper than Kinko’s.

JotNot’s user interface is flexible in that it allows you to send both multipage and single page faxes.  This might confuse some users, so, hopefully, the explanation below clarifies the difference.

To fax multiple pages:

  • Swipe to reveal options for the document from the main menu
• Tap the action sheet icon to display sharing options
  • Select the Fax option
  • Fill out the fax form and hit “Send”

JotNot should send all the pages in the document.   You can also send all pages by faxing from the Page List view for the document, which you can get to by tapping the document from the main menu.

To fax a single page:

  • Drill down to the Page Detail view for the page you want to fax
• Tap the action sheet icon to display the page sharing options
  • Select the Fax option
  • Fill out the form and hit “Send”

In general, initiating a sharing action from the Page Detail view will apply that action to the current page only.  So if you want to email a single page, you will need to drill down to the page detail and select the email sharing option instead of fax.  Initiating a sharing action from the main menu or the page list view will apply that action to the entire document itself.

Hope this helps clarify how to fax using JotNot.

Best,

Alec
